Prithvi Guruprasad (Vocal)
Prithvi Guruprasad’s association with music started even when she was a toddler. She was first initiated into the basics by her father. In the early teens, she came under the expert guidance of Mrs. Sangeetha Swaminathan, with whom she has been learning for the past 4 years. She not only learns Carnatic music but also Hindustani Classical vocal from Shri Manoj Tamhankar and Mrs. Archana Tamhankar.
In the last seven years she has participated in most of the various music festivals in both Carnatic and Hindustani. Last year when she visited India she fine-tuned her skills under Shri. Karur Krishnamurthy, and immediately upon her return had the unique opportunity to sing under the LOTUS banner for their Ganesh Chathurthi celebrations along with her sister, Pragathi.
Prithvi was one of the 3 short listed from California to participate in a NRI talent hunt held at Toronto, Canada. She was crowned Galaata Idol for the year 2007 in a light music competition conducted by Udavum Karangal. This summer Prithvi was part of the Junior Olympics Table Tennis contingent where she returned with a Gold and Bronze medal to her credit.
Prithvi is a Junior at Mission San Jose High in Fremont. Fusion of Western, Carnatic and Hindustani music remains her ultimate dream and goal.

Deepa Venkatasubramanian (Violin)
Deepa Mani began learning Carnatic vocal and violin at the age of 6. She had
her initial vocal training from Sri. Ramashastry, and violin training from
Smt. Padma Gopal. She later received advanced training from the eminent
Late Vidwan Sri. R.R.Keshavamoorthy, a legend of the seven stringed violin.
She has given vocal concerts in India and accompanied senior artists on the
violin. Deepa currently resides in Fremont and is a software engineer by
profession.

Arvind Kannan (Vocal)
Arvind Kannan has been a student of Smt. Jayashree Dasarathy for
over a decade. He has sung at local venues such as SIFA, and the Livermore
and Sunnyvale temples, and has also participated in the Cleveland Aradhana
festival this year. He is a senior at Bellarmine College Preparatory
where he plays flute for the Symphonic Band. Previously he had played
violin for the South Bay Youth Orchestra. Arvind is also a member of
the famed Bellarmine speech & debate team where he has finaled in many
league and invitational tournaments.

Nagaraj Mandya (Violin)
Nagaraj Mandya started his music education more than 10 years ago at
the Vijaya College of Music, Bangalore, India. He continued his
advanced music education under Sangeetha Kalarathna
Prof.H.V.Krishnamurthy, Principal of the Vijaya College of Music and
his son, Ganakalashree Sri.H.K.Venkatram. Nagaraj is currently
furthering his musical interests with Smt. Asha Ramesh. Nagaraj has
accompanied many accomplished artistes both in India and in the USA
and has played at many prestigious sabhas.
Along with his guru, Sri.H.K.Venkatram, Nagaraj has developed
multi-media presentations on the "Life and Times of Sri Muthuswami
Dikshithar", "Panchabhutha krithis of Sri Muthuswami Dikshithar" and
"Navagraha krithis of Sri Muthuswami Dikshithar". He has also
co-authored a multi-media CD on Saint Thyagaraja's Pancharathna
krithis.

Srinivasaraghavan Krishnamoorthy (Mridhangam)
Srinivasaraghavan Krishnamoorthy learnt mridhangam under Late Shri.
Rengu Iyengar of Karaikudi for about 7 years starting at the age of 5.
He then learnt under Shri. N. Krishnamurthy of Karaikudi and for a
brief period under Shri. Thiruvarur Vaidyanathan. Srini has
accompanied artists both in India and in the US. Specifically, he had
the opportunity to accompany Dr. N. Ramani during one of his concerts
in the USA

Jyothi Chetan (Veena)
Smt. Jyothi Chetan was born to Smt .Leelavathi and Sri. Vishweshwara Kalkur, music lovers, and was introduced to music (vocal) at the age of 5 . She started learning veena at 10 from Vainika Vidwan C.N. Dhananjaya and his father Vidwan C.Narayanappa in Chitradurga ,
Karnataka, India. She passed veena Junior and Senior exams with third and second rank and Vidwat in Distinction. Then she got further training from Vidwan Sri B.R. Sridhar, a great Mridangist and Vocalist.
She has perfomed in many places like Bangalore, Mysore, Shimoga, Bhadravathi, Davanagere of Karnataka, and prestigious Sri Shanmukhananda Sabha, Mumbai and well appreciated by the audience .She has performed on several occasions organized by Kannada and Culture department of Karnataka. She has won many prizes in several competitions including national level. She is a B- High graded artiste in AIR, Bangalore. Before she moved to Bay Area in 2005 she was a disciple of Vidushi Smt.Veenai Jayanthi Kumaresh.
