Sruthi Sarva (Vocal)

Sruthi Sarva is a student of Smt.Sangeetha Swaminathan. Smt.Padma Kutti in Los Angeles, CA introduced Sruthi to classical music at the age of 5. She continued her music under Smt.Kolavennu Sree Lakshmi and Kosuru Seshu Latha. For the past 3-˝ years, Sruthi has been blessed to have excellent training under Smt.Sangeetha Swaminathan. Sri Karur Krishnamoorthy trained Sruthi during his stay in US. Sruthi has performed at various Bay Area temples (Livermore, Concord, Fremont, Sunnyvale), Thyagaraja Aaradhana, Dikshitar Day, Purandaradasa, and Annamacharya Utsavams.

Sruthi is an honors, GATE identified freshman at Irvington High School. Sruthi’s other hobbies are reading, chess, badminton, cross country running, piano, and speech. Sruthi is an athlete in the junior varsity team at Irvington High School. She has represented and participated in various tournaments and invitationals. She was placed first from her school in Ed Sias, Artichoke and second in crystal springs invitational.

Anupama Gunupudi (Violin)

Anupama Gunupudi has been learning violin from Sri Arvind Lakshmikanthan for the past eleven years. She gave her first violin solo concert in Saratoga in 2004 and in the Lotus in 2005. She has been performing for the past few years at Thyagaraja Aradhana and Annamacharya Day celebrations in the Bay Area. She has been accompanying on the violin for carnatic music programs for both soloists and groups. In addition to violin, Anupama has been learning Kuchipudi dance from Smt. Jyothi Lakkaraju for the past thirteen years and has performed on numerous occasions and presented her Natyanjali – the solo performance in 2003. She was also a violist in the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra for six years while in high school. Anupama is a recent Electrical Engineering graduate from UC Santa Barbara and is currently working for Raytheon.

Rajesh Nishtala (Mirudangam)

Rajesh has been learning mridangam for the past 10 years. Initially he started his training from Narayanan Natarajan and, more recently, he has been learning from Natarajan Srinivasan. In addition to the mridangam, Rajesh has been playing the carnatic flute for the past 15 years and as received training from both Subbarao Gunupudi as well as his mother, Seetha Nishtala Rajesh has publicly performed at many venues including Lotus, the Milpitas ICC, a television recording or KMVT, the Livermore Temple, and UC Berkeley's South Asian cultural shows . Rajesh is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at UC Berkeley.
