Harini Venkatesh (Vocal)

Harini Venkatesh is a disciple of Smt. Snigdha Venakataramani and has given several solo and group performances under her guidance.

Her performances have won her prizes and appreciation at various platforms including the Papanasam Sivan festival, OSAAT, OVK Aradhana, Sangeet Samrat competition, Raja Rajeshwari temple Navarathri celebrations, SR Fine Arts and many more.

She has attended workshops by several stalwart gurus from India including the Carnatica Brothers, Ms. Vijayalakshmi Subramaniam, Sri.T.N. Seshagopalan, Kalarathna Sri.D. Seshachary of Hyderabad brothers fame and Ms. Savita Narasimhan.

Saranya Rajagopalan (Veena)

Saranya is a 10th grader at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon. She has been learning veena from Sri. Srikanth Chary for the last 6+ years. She has also been learning vocal from Smt. Sangeetha Swaminathan and Bharathanatyam from Smt. Katherine Kunhiraman. Saranya has participated and won several prizes at competitions such as Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Papanasam Sivan, and OSAAT.

Hariharan Sundarraman (Mrudhangam)

Hariharan Sundarraman is a disciple of Mridangam Vidwan Sri. Patri Satishkumar. He has played Mridangam and Kanjira accompaniments for musicians like Sri.Maharajapuram Srinivasan, Sri.M.K.Sankaran Nambudiri, Madurai Sri.G.S.Mani and Sri.Ramakrishnanmurthy to name a few. He was featured during the Margazhi music festival in Chennai at prestigious Sabhas like Krishna Gana Sabha, Rasika Ranjani Sabha etc.

He has also played Mridangam for Bharathanatyam arangetrams of students of Smt.Thejeswini Raj. He has won prizes at competitions at Cleveland, CMANA and Sringeri Vidya Bharati Foundation.

Sowmya Subramanian (Vocal)

Sowmya was introduced to Carnatic music at an early age by her mother, Dr.Revathy Subramanian. Sowmya comes from a rich musical family, her maternal grandmother was a student of the Great Vidwan, Salem Doraiswamy Iyengar and she was a passionate singer and composer . Sowmya’s mother, Revathy is a Ph.D. in Music and a student of Late Sri. D.K.Jayaraman. Sowmya learned music for a brief period from Smt.Seetha Rajan and since age of 15 she has been under the tutelage of renowned Guru, Sangeeta Choodamani, (Late) Smt. Suguna Purushothaman.

Sowmya has participated and won many prizes in music competitions conducted by Chennai's prestigious music sabhas like Music Academy, India Fine Arts and others. She has performed on the All India Radio, Chennai and has given performances in the local sabhas. Sowmya has regularly performed with her Guru, Smt. Suguna Purushothaman in all the thematic concerts, lecture demonstrations during the Chennai’s famed December Music Festival including Indian Fine Arts , Music Academy, Nada Inbam and Krishna Gana Sabha.

She has completed the Vidwat level exams conducted by the Tamilnadu Government in Carnatic music Theory and has extensive knowledge on the nuances of the art. She has also undergone Voice Culture training from renowned Ethnomusicologist, Dr. S.A.K Durga and completed a certificate course from the Institute of Voxology, Chennai.

Sowmya is a MBA graduate from India and works as an Accountant in the Bay Area. After moving to the Bay Area in 2008, she has been regularly performing at various chamber concerts and premier Bay Area organizations including SR Fine Arts, Sangati Center, Bay Area Margazhi Utsavam, Sangeetha Dhwani, Swaralahari (TV), Livermore temple, Concord Temple and SV Lotus’s Ramanavami Concert series and recently at Sri Rajarajeswari Temple (SRRT) on the occasion of Maha Sivaratri.

During her Guru Smt. Suguna Purushothaman’s 2011 Bay Area tour, Sowmya had the opportunity to accompany her in all her concerts and lecture demonstrations.

Sowmya has a mellifluous voice that brings out the bhavam in her music. She teaches vocal music and is a dedicated and passionate teacher. She teaches vocal music locally and through Skype. Sowmya believes that strict adherence to padantharam of the songs as taught by her Gurus is important and that these should be flawlessly retained.

Durga Ganesh (Violin)

Durga Ganesh has performed violin concerts at bay area temples, Swara Lahari, and SR Fine Arts. She has accompanied senior artists, including Dr. Vyzarsu Balasubrahmanyam, TTD artist Dr. M. V. Simhachala Sastry, Vidwan Tirumale Srinivas, and the Barmer Boys. Durga's violin performance was aired on All India Radio. She is a senior disciple of Sri Susheela Narasimhan. Durga also teaches the violin, gives carnatic vocal performances, and studies at Stanford University.

Aditya Srinivasan (Mrudhangam)

Aditya Srinivasan started learning mridangam from Sri. Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan. Aditya is an active performer, regularly accompanying artists in the Bay Area, LA and also in the Chennai during the December music season. He has won many prizes in both local competitions as well as the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana competitions. Furthermore, in April of 2014, Aditya had the privilege of accompanying Isai Peroli Sri. Sikkil Gurucharan, Sri. Vittal Ramamurthy and Sri. Ganesh Ramanarayanan for his mrudangam arangetram. Aditya is currently a rising Junior at UCLA majoring in Computer Science.
