Nandita Sriram

Nandita Sriram has been learning Carnatic music from Smt. Jayashree Varadarajan for the past 18 years. She performed a junior recital for LOTUS in 2003 and was selected to do a one-hour solo recital for SIFA’s 25th Anniversary, Youth concert. She performed her music Arangetram in 2005 at Campbell Heritage Theater. In September of 2007, Nandita gave a solo recital for Ganesh Chaturthi at the Concord Temple. In January of 2008, Nandita featured as a soloist for Swaralahari’s 30-minute TV program. Nandita has participated in many of Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandir’s school performances. She has also given solo house concerts during the Navaratri Festival and taken lessons from visiting artists from India.

Since the age of five, she has been learning (western) violin, and Bharatanatnatyam dance, and has given many solo and group performances over the years. In 2007, Nandita was selected by Academy Award-winning music director and composer, A. R. Rahman, to sing as a soloist on tour with his troupe.

Nandita graduated from Stanford University in June 2009 with a degree in biomechanical engineering. She currently resides and works in the SF Bay Area.

Ajay Narasimha

Ajay Narasimha learns vocal and violin from Hemmige Sri V. Srivatsan, who is the leading male disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Palghat Sri K.V. Narayanaswamy. Ajay has accompanied leading artists all over the US and in the major music festivals in Chennai and Bangalore.

Ramesh Srinivasan

Ramesh is the leading disciple of Mridangam Maestro Sangita Kalanidhi Shri Vellore G. Ramabhadran and is the recipient of the prestigious ‘Laya Kala Rathna’ award for the year 2007, by Sriragam Fine Arts, Chennai. He was awarded the 1st rank in the preliminary AIR (All India Radio) Music Competition in the entire Southern Region of India in I984. He has performed at Music Academy and other Sabhas in Chennai on several occasions as well as numerous organizations abroad.

Ramesh has the unique honor & privilege of performing in the inaugural show of Festival of India in US in New York State at Syracuse in 1986.

Prominent Carnatic musicians Ramesh has accompanied include Sangita Kalanidhi R.K.Srikantan, Sangita Kalanidhi T.K. Govinda Rao, Senior Violin Vidwan Parur M.S.Anantharaman, Chitravina Ravikiran, Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Dr. Pramila Gurumurthy, Smt. S.Soumya & Carnatica Brothers among others.

Ramesh was part of the “Panchakriya Super JugalBandhi Ensemble” including Chitravina Ravikiran and Santoor Maestro Tarun Bhattacharya providing Mridangam support at multiple venues in N. America. He has also performed in JugalBandhi/Fusion concerts with Sitar Virtuoso Ustad Habib Khan, Tabla Maestro Pandit Swapan Chaudhri and in Jazz concerts with Guitar virtuoso Fareed Haque.

Ramesh’s style is noted for sensitivity to music and highly proactive support. He runs a percussion school “Sarvalaghu Percussion Art Center” in San Francisco Bay Area.
