Aditya Mahadevan (Kanjira)

Veena Krishnan (Vocal)

Veena is a senior at California Connections Academy. She has been learning traditional Indian music for the past 13 years.

She is blessed to be a disciple of Kalaimamani Dr. R Suryaprakash and Sri. Aneesh V Bhat for vocal, Padmashree A Kanyakumari for violin, and Pandit Habib Khan for Hindustani vocal.

In August 2022, Veena completed her "Ganda Bandhan" in Hindustani Music in Chennai, India.

Veena is also the founder and president of VeenaVaadini, a Non-Profit Organization Dedicated to Promoting Traditional Indian Art Forms. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and being outside.


Nikhita Kaushik (Violin)

Nikhita has been learning Carnatic violin from Vid. Rajeev Mukundan since 2018. She has given several solo performances as well as accompanied many concerts in the SoCal community. She has also performed for sabhas in India and has won awards in national and international competitions. Nikhita is a freshman at UC Irvine, studying Cognitive Sciences.  


Bhargav Nemani (Mridhangam)

Bhargav is a sophomore at Leland High School. He is a student of Patri Satish Kumar. He has been learning mridangam for the past 9 years. He accompanies local bay area programs and organizations. He has performed in Cleveland,  San Diego youth festival and the 2022, 2023 December Chennai  music seasons. He also learns music from Smt Vasudha Ravi.

Nitya Jayaprakash (Vocal)

Nitya Jayaprakash is a sophomore at Notredame high school, San Jose. Nitya is a disciple of Guru. Shri. Hari Devanath and has been learning vocal for the past 9 years. She is also learning violin from Guru.Shri.Mahesh Balaji from the past 6 years. Nitya is part of the school choir and participates in musical events in school. Nitya enjoys theatre and working with animals.


Pramithi Kalluri (Violin)

Pramithi Kalluri is a senior at Leland High School, and has been learning Veena for the past 5 years, and also has been learning Carnatic music on vocal for the past 13 years. She learns Veena from Vid D.Srinivas learns vocal from Vid. RK Shriramkumar and Vidushi Amritha Murali. Pramithi has participated in many competitions, such as at Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, OSAAT, Papanasam Sivan, Carnatic Quest HCL global competition, SaaMa arts, and Siliconandhra, and has also won many prizes.


Kedar Shankarram (Mridhangam)

Kedar is a freshman at Leigh High School. He has been learning mridangam for the past 4 years, most recently from Sri.Delhi Sairam. He is also a vocal student of Sri Paduka Academy, learning from Sri.Hari Devanath. Kedar enjoys playing the piano, football, solving sudoku and puzzles

Shreyas Muralidharan (Vocal)

Shreyas Muralidharan is a vocalist and disciple of Dr. KN Renganatha Sharma. He is currently a graduate student working in the intersection of electrical engineering and neuroscience.


Srinath Hariharan (Violin)


Srinath Hariharan is a violin disciple of Sangeet Samraat Chitravina N Ravikiran and Vidushi Bhargavi Balasubramanian. He is a freshman in college.


Akshay Swaminathan (Mridhangam)


Akshay Swaminathan is a mridangist and has trained under vidwan Bangalore Arjun Kumar for the past 15 years. He is also an accomplished Carnatic flutist, and learns music from his father, Swaminathan Natarajan, a disciple of B Rajam Iyer. Akshay works in the health tech industry and studies medicine and data science at Stanford.



Aditya Mahadevan (Kanjira)


Aditya Mahadevan is a student of Bangalore Arjun Kumar. He learns mridangam and kanjira and enjoys all kinds of music.
