Sumedh Vaidyanathan (Vocal)

Sumedh is a 9th grader at Dublin High School. He is learning carnatic vocal music for the last 4+ years from Sri Paduka Academy. He also learns veena from Sri. Srikanth Chari for the last 3+ years. He is passionate about Programming, Basketball, and Soccer.

Shreyas Srinivasan (Violin)

Shreyas started learning Violin from Smt. Geetha Seshadri since an early age and currently learning from Kalaimamani Dr. Narmadha, daughter and disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri. MSG. Shreyas is an 8th grader at Fallon Middle School in Dublin.

Shreyas Ramaswami (Mridangam)

Shreyas Ramaswami is a disciple of Sri Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan, founder of Nadhopasana Academy of Fine Arts for the past 8 years. He completed his mrudangam arangetram in 2014, accompanying Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Sri Delhi Sunder Rajan and Sri Ravi Balasubramanian. Shreyas is a recipient of the 2015 Alliance of California Traditional Arts apprenticeship with his Guru. He is a frequent performer at various Bay Area venues and has participated in his school's Laya Vinyasam (percussion ensemble) as both a mrudangam and kanjira player. He has won prizes at the Papanasam Sivan and OSAAT competitions. Shreyas is a senior at Homestead High School.

Shruthi Jaganathan (Vocal)

Shruthi is in 9th grade at Cupertino High School. She has been learning music for the past 8 years under the tutelage of Smt. Rama Thyagarajan. Shruthi has won awards in local competitions, such as OSAAT. She is regularly attending Vidwan Sri.P. Delhi. Sudarrajan's workshops conducted the by Sathguru Vidyalaya.

She has been learning western violin for the past 6 years and has passed her 7 level merit exam in violin. She has a Black Belt in Tae-kwon-do. She is an enthusiastic participant in her school robotics team. Her hobby is reading books and listening to music.

Vignesh Thyagarajan (Violin)

Vignesh Thyagarajan hails from a family of musicians belonging to the lineage of Flute Maestro Brahmasri Saraba Sastrigal. Vignesh started learning Carnatic vocal and violin at a very young age under the guidance of his mother Smt. Rama Thyagarajan as well as Shri. Susheela Narasimhan. He is now currently under the tutelage of his uncle Vidwan Delhi Shri. P. Sunderrajan.

At a young age, Vignesh has become a sought-after violinist in the San Francisco Bay Area, and regularly accompanies local artists as well as visiting artists from India. He has played many solo concerts, and has had the privilege of playing a duet with his guru Delhi Shri. P. Sunderrajan in the year of 2013. Vignesh regularly visits Chennai to perform solos and accompany leading musicians in the December Music Season.

Vignesh had his solo violin arangetram in September of 2014, accompanied by Vidwan Neyveli Shri. R. Narayanan on Mridangam and Vidwan Adambakkam Shri. K. Sankar on Ghatam.

Avinash Anand (Mrudangam)

Avinash is a 6th grader at Windermere Ranch Middle school in San Ramon. He has been learning Mridangam for the past 6 years from Shri Ramesh Srinivasan, Director of Sarvalaghu Percussion Arts Center, San Jose. With his Guru's blessings Avinash had his Mirdangam arangetram with Sri Chitavina Ravikiran on January 3rd 2016 in Chennai.

Avinash is also learning Vocal music from Sri Hari Devnath and Sri. Vivek Sundararaman, Sri Paduka Academy. He has participated and won prizes in Cleveland Aradhana and Bay area competitive events.

Apart from music, he plays badminton and enjoys reading books.

Aparna Thyagarajan (Vocal)

Aparna is a 10th grader at Cupertino High School, Cupertino. She started learning carnatic vocal at the age of 5 from her mother Smt. Rama Thyagarajan and currently under the tutelage of her uncle, Vidwan Sri. Delhi P. Sunderrajan. She has given several solo vocal performances in many bay area organizations and in Chennai December music season.

She also learns carnatic violin from her uncle and hindustani vocal music from Sri. Nachiketa Yakkundi. She has won many prices in Carnatic Vocal, Carnatic Violin and Hindustani Vocal competitions.

Santhosh Ravindrabharathy (Mridangam)

Santhosh Ravindrabharathy, a 12 year old, hails from the well-known 'Embar' family, known for its involvement in Music and Spirituality. He is very passionate about playing the mrudangam and is learning mridangam under his father Shri Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan, Founder/Director Nadhopasana Academy of Fine arts, for the past 7 years, and also now, he is blessed to learn from Guru Shri Neyveli Narayanan as well. On January 2nd, 2016, Santhosh had his Mrudangam arangetram accompanying Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Sri Delhi Sunder Rajan, and Sri Ghatam Karthick. Santhosh has been regularly accompanying various music schools in the bay area for their events.

He has participated in many competitions including the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and has been a consistent prize winner. In June 2015, Santhosh was awarded the "IndianRaga Fellowship". Santhosh enjoys listening to great masters, such as Sri. Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman sir, Sri. Neyveli Narayanan, Sri. Palghat Raghu, Sri. Palghat Mani Iyer, Sri. Pazhani Subramanya Pillai, Sri. TK Murthy, and many others. He is also learning vocal music under Guru Smt.Jayashree Varadarajan for the past 7 years. He is learning Veena from Smt. Anuradha Sundar. His other passions include oil painting, writing short stories, and writing blogs.
