Prayag Barath (Vocal)

Prayag Barath is a rising freshman at St. Francis High School. He has been learning vocal music from Sri Paduka Academy for the past 6 years. He also learns mrudangam from Vid Sri Chennai Thyagarajan. Prayag enjoys playing basketball and volunteering.


Pramati Barath (Violin)

Pramati Barath is a rising freshman at the University of Washington, Seattle majoring in neuroscience. She has been learning the Carnatic violin for the past 9 years. She received her initial training from Sri Mahesh Balaji. Since 2017, Pramati has been training under the able guidance of Sri Delhi P. Sunder Rajan. She has both accompanied and given solo performances across platforms such as SRFA, CCC, Lotus, and Bay Area Margazhi Utsavam. Pramati has also been learning Carnatic vocal from Sri Paduka Academy for the past 13 years.


Rajeev Devanath (Mridangam)

Rajeev Devanath is a tenth grader at University Preparatory Academy. He had his mirudangam arangetram accompanying his father Guru Sri Hari Devanath under the guidance of Sri Ramesh Srinivasan. He is currently learning from Vid Sri Chennai Thyagarajan.  He also learns vocal music from Sri Paduka Academy. He enjoys participating in music events, especially spontaneous ones. Rajeev enjoys robotics,  basketball, and biking.

Samyuktha Natesan (Vocal)

Samyuktha Natesan is an incoming Freshman at Scripps Claremont College. She learns carnatic vocal music from Smt. Akila Shankar and Kalaimamani Dr. R. Suryaprakash She has participated and won prizes in numerous festivals including the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana. Samyuktha had her vocal arangetram on August 31, 2019.  She has given many concerts in Chennai and all over the Bay Area. She also learns carnatic violin from Radhika Iyer and western violin from Shawn Prudhomme.


Urmika Balaji (Violin)

Urmika Balaji is a rising freshman at UC Davis. She began her violin training under her father, Sri Mahesh Balaji, at the age of seven. In 2015, she was fortunate to come under the tutelage of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Padmashri A. Kanyakumari. Urmika also learns vocal music from Sri K. Chandrashekharan, and previously trained under Sri Hari Devanath of Sri Paduka Academy. Urmika provides regular violin accompaniment for several artists in the Bay Area, and was fortunate to perform in Chennai for the December Music Season in 2019.


Vaibhav Prakash (Mridangam)

Vaibhav Prakash is a rising senior at Dougherty Valley High school, San Ramon. He has been learning Mridangam from Sri.Gopi Lakshminaryanan for the past 10 years. Vaibhav has accompanied for various music schools here in the Bay Area. He is also learning Vocal carnatic music and is a disciple of Sri.Vijay Siva. Vaibhav has participated in many vocal competitions and has won various prizes in multiple categories. He also regularly gives vocal concerts here and in India.
