Keshavan Narayanan Srivatsan (Vocal)

Keshavan Narayanan Srivatsan is a Carnatic vocalist and violinist, belonging to the Legendary Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar & Palghat K.V. Narayanaswamy Lineage. He has been training in vocal music under his parents Smt. Subhapriya K. Srivatsan and Hemmige Sri V. Srivatsan since a very young age and continues to train on the violin with his father. Keshavan has also had the rare privilege of learning with illustrious musicians such as Vidushi Smt. Padma Narayanaswamy (his Parama-guru-pathni) and Vidushi Smt. Jayalakshmi Santhanam. Keshavan holds an undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Southern California.

Vidwan Hemmige Sri V. Srivatsan (violin)

Sri Srivatsan is a highly regarded vocalist and violinist in the classical Carnatic tradition. He was introduced to music by his parents and received training as a violinist under Sri Anoor Ramakrishna, Principal of the Ayyanar Music College in Bangalore.  In 1985, Srivatsan toured with and later became a disciple of Palghat Sri KV Narayanaswamy, learning the art of singing from him as well. 

Srivatsan has provided violin accompaniment to his Guru in many tours and has also provided vocal support.  He has accompanied many other legendary musicians including Sri Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer and Smt. M.S. Subbulakshmi.  As a violinist, Srivatsan pays particular attention to classical and tonal purity. He has been featured in a number of albums and is an ‘A’ grade artiste of All India Radio.  Srivatsan resides with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Chi. Pranav Tirumalai (Mridangam)

Pranav Tirumalai is a disciple of “Mrdanga kalA shirOmaNi” Sri. Trichur C. Narendran, one of the prime and early disciples of the legendary Mrdangam Maestro Padma Shri Palghat R. Raghu. Pranav started his initial training at a very young age under the able guidance of Sri. Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan, founder of Nadhopasana Academy of fine arts. He also had the blessing of learning vocal carnatic training under Sri.C. R. Vaidhyanathan, a disciple of Padma Bhushan Sri. P.S.Narayana Swamy. Pranav had the privilege of accompanying eminent BayArea artists. Pranav is pursuing Biomedical Engineering at U.C Davis.

Akshay Pasumarthi

Akshay initiated his carnatic music  under his uncle Guru Sri. Prakash Rao. He is continuing his tutelage in Sri Paduka Academy under Guru. Vidwan Sri. Hari Devnath over the last 5 years. He is a junior at Cupertino High School.


Ranjana Rajagopalan 

Ranjana is a vocal and violin disciple of Guru Smt. Lavanya Kothandaraman. She has also learned from Violinist Guru Vidwan Sri. R. K. Shriramkumar on multiple occasions. She was a violin accompanist for the Sustaining Sampradaya recitals at Cleveland in 2019 and 2023. 


Varun Rao

Varun Rao has been learning mridangam from Guru Sri. Ravindrabharathy Sridharan (Nadhopasana Academy of Fine Arts) for the past 8 years. He is a sophomore at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, CA. In his free time, he likes to play piano, run and do origami.
