Abinaya Srikant (Vocal)

Abinaya is a currently a disciple of Smt. Charumathi Ramachandran, a disciple of the legendary Dr. M.L.Vasanthakumari. Prior to this, Abinaya learned music from Smt. Hema Sista, artistic director of the Sangithalaya School of Music and from Smt. Sangeetha Ayyar in Sydney, where her music training started at the age of 5. She performed her debut concert at the age of 10. Abinaya has given performances in December Chennai Festival last year, Dallas and in several venues in the Bay Area. She has also competed in several regional and national music competitions like the Papanasam Sivan competition, OSAAT and the prestigious Cleveland Aradhana and won prizes in krithi, alapana, swaram, niraval and pallavi renditions. Abinaya learns Bharatanatyam from Smt. Mythili Kumar, Artistic Director of Abhinaya School of Dance and performed her dance arangetram in Aug 2016. Abinaya will be a Freshman at UC Berkeley this fall.


Aparna Thyagarajan (Violin)

Aparna Thyagarajan started showing interest in Carnatic music from a very young age. She had her initial training in Carnatic vocal music from her mother Smt. Rama Thyagarajan, and started learning the violin at the age of 10. She is currently under the guidance of her uncle Vidwan Sri Delhi P. Sunderrajan for both vocal and violin. Aparna has provided violin accompaniment for many Bay Area schools, competitions, and individual artists. She has won first prize in multiple categories for the violin competition held by the prestigious Cleveland Aradhana Festival. She has also given solo violin duets with her brother Vignesh Thyagarajan. Aparna has performed vocal music for various organizations throughout the Bay Area and has performed in Chennai as a part of the december music season for the last 4 years. She is doing her BS in software engineering at San Jose State University.


Amit Ranganathan (Mridangam)

Amit Ranganathan has been a disciple of Sri. Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan for the past 12 years. Since performing his arangetram in 2013, Amit has accompanied upcoming and senior musicians across the U.S. and India. He continues to perform under the auspices of several organizations including SIFA, LOTUS, Nandalala Mission, SR Fine Arts, Swaralahari, Sacramento Aradhana, Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, and San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival. He regularly accompanies for Bharatanatyam and vocal arangetrams and productions in and out of the Bay Area.

Amit has been extremely active in the Cleveland Thyagaraja festival. He was awarded first place in the senior mrudangam competition and has previously won awards in the junior and accompaniment category.

In addition to learning mrudangam, Amit has learnt Carnatic vocal music from Smt. Jayashree Varadarajan.

Amit holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and currently works as a Software Engineer in the Bay Area.

Kaushik Hariharan (Vocal)

Kaushik has been learning carnatic vocal music since the age of 5.

He is a disciple of Smt Jayanthi Umesh. Kaushik has performed in many bay area venues and Chennai December Music Season. Kaushik is a recipient of many awards including Star award in Carnatic Music Idol-2013, Indian Raga Fellow-2016 and Alliance for California Traditional Arts (ACTA) apprenticeship-2017

Kaushik will be attending School of Engineering at UC Merced specializing in Computer Science this fall.


Vignesh Thyagarajan (Violin)

Vignesh Thyagarajan is a disciple and nephew of Vidwan Delhi Sri P. SunderRajan, and has been learning violin from his guru for 14 years. He has regularly accompanied in the Chennai December Music Festival for the past 7 years in all leading sabhas as violin accompanist. He has been performing regularly at the Madras Music Academy from 2016 Spirit of Youth series, 2017 HCL series, 2018 Radel mid year concert and 2018 December Season concert and scheduled to perform in 2019 December season.

Vignesh has had the privilege of accompanying senior vidwans and graded artists of All India Radio.

Vignesh has accompanied local talents widely throughout the USA, in various cities for concerts and notably the prestigious Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana festival held annually in Cleveland, Ohio. He has performed many solos throughout the US and provided violin accompaniment to many visiting artists from India.

Vignesh has had the privilege of accompanying his guru, Vidwan Delhi Sri P. SunderRajan, in multiple concerts as violin support and violin accompaniment.


Shreyas Ramaswami (Mridangam)

Shreyas Ramaswami is a senior disciple of Sri. Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan, founder of Nadhopasana Academy of Fine Arts. He completed his mridangam arangetram in 2014, accompanying Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Sri Delhi Sunder Rajan and Sri Ravi Balasubramanian. Shreyas is a recipient of the prestigious 2015 Alliance for California Traditional Arts Apprenticeship with his Guru Sri Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan.

Shreyas is a frequent concert performer and accompanies vocalists, music and dance schools at various venues in California. He has also performed at several sabhas during the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Chennai Music Season. Shreyas is a student at Santa Clara University pursuing a degree in Finance.
