Rasika Sudharshan (Vocal)

Rasika is a senior in American High School, Fremont.Rasika has been learning Carnatic music under Pduka Academy. She has performed in some bay area concerts. She also learns Bharathanatyam and Western Classical Piano.

Sasidhar Madugula (Violin)

Sasidhar Madugula started his Carnatic violin training at the age of 8 under Sri Dinesh Narayan. He has been undergoing advanced training for the past 5 years from Kalaimamani Sri Vittal Ramamurthy of Chennai, a disciple of Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman. He has won recognition from several organizations, including the Chicago Thyagaraja Utsavam, the Sivan Fine Arts Academy, SAPNA, and Bharati Theertha. He regularly gives solo concerts, and accompanies many local and leading artists. Sasidhar is currently studying medicine at Stanford University.

Santhosh Ravindhrabharathy (Mrudangam)

Santhosh, a 11 year old, hails from the well-known Embar family, known for its involvement in Music and Spirituality. He is very passionate about playing mrudangam and has been learning mrudangam under his father Sri Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan, Founder/Director Nadhopasana Academy of Fine arts, for the past 6 years. Santhosh has been regularly accompanying various music schools in the bay area for their events.

He has participated in many competitions including the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and has been a consistent prize winner for the past three of years. In 2014 Cleveland festival, he also provided mrudangam accompaniment to Sri K. N.Shashikiran’s Carnatic Symphony as well as CCC’s showcase event.

Santhosh is also learning vocal music under Guru Smt.Jayashree Varadarajan for the past 6 years. His other passion includes oil painting and writing short stories.

Vaidehi Srinivas (Vocal)

Vaidehi Srinivas has been a student of Smt. Sumitra Nitin of Bangalore for 8 years. She has performed in various individual and group events in the Bay Area and at the Cleveland Thyagaraja festival. Vaidehi also enjoys Bharatanatyam dance, playing the Western Flute and creating art in various media. She is currently a junior at Gunn High School in Palo Alto

Sanjna Arvind (Violin)

Sanjna Arvind learns from her father, Sri Arvind Lakshmikanthan, a student of Lalgudi Smt. Srimathi Brahmanandam. Sanjna performs in music events in the Bay Area and has also performed in the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana festival. She performs as a soloist as well as an accompanist. Sanjna is a senior at Lynbrook High School.

Akshay Venkatesan (Mridangam)

Akshay Venkatesan, an 8th grader in Chaboya Middle School, is a student of Sarvalagu Percussion Art Center and has been learning Mridangam from `Laya Kala Ratna’ Sri Ramesh Srinivasan, a leading disciple of Mridangam Maestro Late Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Vellore G. Ramabhadran.

Akshay has been accompanying vocalists and instrumentalists in Bay area for the last four years. In addition, Akshay has been accompanying in many Sabhas in the December music season in Chennai since 2013 for various vocal and instrumentalists.

Akshay also learns vocal Carnatic music and is a student of Sri Paduka Academy. His other activities include playing tennis and basketball as well as saxophone in his school

band and participation in Science Olympiad.

Nikhil Duggirala (Veena)

Nikhil Duggirala is a Senior at Evergreen Valley High school, San Jose. Nikhil has been learning Veena for the past 5 years under the guidance of Smt. Lalitha Venkatraman, artistic director of Ragavani school of Music. Nikhil has participated in several Veena performances under the auspices of the music school including the school’s annual Vijayadasami functions.

In addition to pursuing his passion in Veena, Nikhil is also learning Carnatic vocal from Smt.Jayashree Varadarajan.
