Kaushik Shivakumar (Vocal)

Kaushik Shivakumar has been learning Carnatic vocal music under the tutelage of Sangeetha Vidushi Srimathi Jayashree Varadarajan, Founder and Artistic Director of Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandir School of Fine Arts based in Sunnyvale, CA. Kaushik is very passionate about his singing and has participated in many of the school's music productions at various venues across the Bay area and in Cleveland. He has won prizes at various music competitions that include the first prize in the Manodharma category at Silicon Andhra Annamaya Jayanthi and the 2nd prize in the Ragam Tanam Pallavi Category at the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana in 2016. He was also a first prize winner in the group category of the Carnatic music Idol USA in 2013 and his group was invited to perform at the 2014 Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana. Kaushik has also presented a solo vocal concert under the banner of Nandalala Mission. Kaushik is a rising Junior at the Harker school in San Jose. In addition to music, he also loves playing table tennis, has a keen interest in robotics and enjoys teaching programming and robotics at various libraries across the Bay area.

Shreyas Srinivasan (Violin)

Shreyas is currently being trained on the violin by Sri H.K.Narasimhamurthy, who is a disciple of late Sri. Parur Sundaram Iyer and Padma Bhushan Sangita Kalanidhi M.S.Gopalakrishnan. He was initiated to Parur School of Violin by Kalaimamani Dr. Narmadha. Shreyas started his initial lessons from Smt. Geetha Seshadri. Shreyas is a freshman at Dublin High School.

Amit Ranganathan (Mridangam)

Amit Ranganathan has been a disciple of Sri. Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan for the past 11 years and performed his mrudangam arangetram in 2013 accompanying Isai Peroli Sri. Neyveli Santhanagopalan in San Jose, California. Amit regularly accompany musicians and students of various Bay Area and Sacramento music schools. He has accompanied for vocal and Bharatanatyam dance arangetrams and dance programs in and out of the Bay Area. In Cleveland, Amit won the first place award in the senior mrudangam competition. In addition to learning mrudangam, Amit has learnt Carnatic vocal music from Smt. Jayashree Varadarajan. Amit is a junior at San Jose State University majoring in Computer Science and he continues to support the Carnatic music community all around USA on a regular basis.

Anivartin Anand and Shriya Anand (Violin Duet)

Shriya Anand has been a disciple of Guru Smt. Anuradha Sridhar since 2008, learning both vocal and violin from her Guru. She has actively performed in many programs by her music school, Trinity Center for Music, in Bay area, Cleveland, San Diego, and in India and has given several solo vocal recitals in Bay area at various venues like Mahakaleshwar Temple, Nandalala, Lotus, Badrikashrama, SR Fine Arts, Swaralahari. She has also performed in San Francisco World Music Festival as part of the Youth orchestra. She has accompanied on the violin a few concerts. Shriya has won many prizes for both vocal and violin categories in Papanasam Sivan Festival and in Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana. Shriya is also learning western violin and loves to draw pencil sketches in her free time. Shriya is a junior in San Jose State University, California.

Anivartin Anand is a disciple of Guru Smt.Anuradha Sridhar since 2010 and has been learning both vocal and violin from his Guru. Anivartin has participated in many Trinity School programs in Bay area and in India. He has won prizes in Vocal and Violin Categories in Papanasam Sivan festival and in Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana. He is also learning Mridangam from Guru Shri Shriram Brahmanandam. Anivartin has received a scholarship from the Alliance for California Traditional Arts Apprenticeship program under the guidance of Guru Shriram Brahmanandam. He is also learning Western Violin. He is a black belt candidate in Taekwando. He will be an incoming freshman this fall at Monta Vista High School, Cupertino.

Arun Shriram (Mrudangam)

Arun Shriram has learnt from his father and Guru, Shri Shriram Brahmanandam, a senior and acclaimed Mrudangam Artist . Arun is also the grandson of Mrs. Lalgudi Srimathi Brahmanandam, a renowned violinist. He has received many prizes in various percussion categories in the prestigious Cleveland competitions in multiple years, and has been visiting India and performing at various venues during the annual December Carnatic music season in Chennai. He also frequently performs in Bay Area festivals and concerts, including the San Francisco World Music Festival, SIFA, Trinity Center for music, and Nadalaya school of music to name a few. Aside from regularly accompanying both senior and Junior artists, Arun enjoys sketching, coding, and performing with orchestras as a percussionist. Arun is currently a second-year Software Engineering major at California Polytechnic State University.

Sara Kaushik (Vocal)

Sara is a student of Sri. Vivek Sundararaman and Sri. Hari Devanath of Sri Paduka Academy. Prior to joining Sri Paduka, Sara started learning her music from Smt.Akila Iyer. She has won prizes in music competitions like Kala Aradhana and OSAAT.

She loves to play chess and has won many chess competitions including 1st place in Nationals under her category. Her team won 1st place in Girl's National Chess Championship held in Chicago. In addition to vocal music, Sara loves to play badminton, and is part of her school's varsity team, and has won many prizes. Sara is a rising Junior at Irvington High School.

Gowri Datta (Violin)

Gowri is a student of Vidwan Sri Delhi P. Sunderrajan and is pursuing violin and vocal training under his guidance. Prior to this, she learned vocal under Smt Jayanthi Umesh and violin under Aravind Sheshadri.

She is going to be a Junior at Dublin High School.

Akshay Prabhakaran (Mridangam)

Akshay Prabhakaran is a rising freshman at Santa Clara University. He is a senior student of Shri Gopi lakshminarayanan and has completed his mridangam arangetram in September 2016 accompanying Vidwan Shri Sikkil Gurucharan. He has won awards at Papanasam sivan and Cleveland Aradhana competitions. He has accompanied many bay area artists during music season and continues to be mentored by Shri Gopi.
