Shraddha (Vocal)

Shraddha has been learning carnatic music for the past 7 years and is currently a disciple of Smt Chitra Vasudevan over Skype from Tirunelveli, India. Shraddha is a sophomore at Monta Vista High School. She actively volunteers and performs through the Tri-M Music Honors Society club at school.

Jay Srivas (Violin)

Jay Srivas is a student of Vid.Delhi P. Sunderajan. Srivas has accompanied for recordings, many schools in the bay area, Sacramento , LA and performed at Cleveland Aaradhana, many temples for Navarathri, Ramanavami, Aradhanas, CCC, TVMC, LOTUS, SR Fine Arts, Annamacharya Utsavam, many fundraisers and placed in Indian Raga, Annamacharya and OSAAT competitions. He is working towards an accredited certification degree program at the University of Silicon Andhra.

Khedaar (Mrudangam)

Khedaar is part of the Sarvalaghu Percussion Art Center learning Mridangam from Guru Sri Ramesh Srinivasan for the past four years. He is a 5th grader from Faria Elementary School.

Two interesting things about him. First, he is a die-hard Boston Celtics fan. Bill Russel is his idol and "manaseega" basketball GOD!! Khedaar possesses amazing knowledge about almost every player in the NBA league and feels he is the right GM for every NBA team for he knows exactly how to make each the next champions. Second, if you have any questions about scaly pets such as snakes, lizards, salamanders, etc., please feel free to approach him. He is the local Cupertino Guru on Herpatology.

He is part of the Kennedy Middle School Science Olympiad Team and has won several GOLD/SILVER medals in multiple Norcal Invitational Science Olympiad Events. You can tell that the little things don't scare him anymore!!

Arjun Chandra Subramanian (Vocal)

Arjun Chandra Subramanian began his musical journey under the tutelage of Sri Hari Devanath and Sri Vivek Sundaraman of Sri Paduka Academy. For the past year, he has been under the tutelage of Smt. Visalakshi Nityanand, daughter and disciple of Trivandrum Sri. R. S. Mani, a senior disciple of Semmangudi Sri. R. Srinivasa Iyer. Smt. Nityanand also had the privilege of learning from her father’s Guru. Arjun has participated and placed at Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, and local bay area competitions. He has also performed at CCC and enjoys the rigors of Carnatic music.

Tejas Bharadwaj (Violin)

Tejas Bharadwaj began his musical journey under the tutelage of Smt. Anuradha Sridhar. For the past two years, he has been undergoing training under Vidwan Shri B.V. Raghavendra Rao, senior disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi T. N. Krishnan. Tejas has won several prizes in krithi and alapana categories at the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Papanasam Sivan, and Sangeet Samrat competitions and regularly accompanies in the Bay Area.

Varchas Bharadwaj (Mrudangam)

Varchas Bharadwaj started learning mridangam under Sri Shriram Brahmanandam. For the past two years, he has been under the tutelage of Vidwan Trivandrum Sri Balaji, disciple of the legendary percussionist Vidwan Palghat Sri R. Raghu. He has won first prizes in accompaniment and Thani avarthanam categories numerous years in Cleveland, and the Sangeet Samrat and Papanasam Sivan competitions. Varchas performs in the Bay Area regularly and was invited to perform at the “Parampara” festival in Dallas and more recently at the Youth Festival in San Diego.

Tanisha Srivatsa (Vocal)

Tanisha Srivatsa is an eighth grader at Hopkins Middle School. She is currently learning vocal from Sangeetha Swaminathan, and violin from Charumathi Raghuraman. Previously, she learnt the violin from Saravanapriyan Sriraman, Tara Anand, and Susheela Narasimhan. She has learned vocal from Vydehi Sudarshan and Tara Anand. She also plays the Western Violin in her school's Advanced Orchestra.

Deeksha Venkateswaran (Violin)

Deeksha Venkateswaran is a 7th grader at Thomas Russel. She started learning violin from Vidwan Dr. Saravanapriyan Sriraman at the age 9. Currently, she is under the esteemed guidance of Vidhushi Smt H. M. Smitha. She is also learning vocal from Vidwan Kolkatta Vijayaragavan. She also learns Hindustani vocal Sri Tahmankars.

Srihari Srinivasan (Mridangam)

Srihari Srinivasan is Freshman at Dublin High School. He has been playing mridangam for a total of 7 years. Srihari has been learning under Trivandrum V. Balaji, a disciple of Padmashri Palghat Raghu for more than 3 years. He was initially learning from Ramesh Srinivasan, a disciple of Vellore Ramabhadran. Srihari has participated in many competitions. He received 1st place in Cleveland Music Competition 2017 for Junior Thani Avarthanam. He also received a special prize in Sangeeth Samrat for the Junior Mridangam competition and 3rd place for a group competition.
