Dhriti S Iyer (Vocal)

Dhriti S Iyer has been learning Carnatic vocal under the tutelage of Smt. Preetha Sheshadri for the past 7 years as part of Kalaniketan School of Indian Music and Dance. During this time she has been actively participating in all bayarea cultural events and fundraisers. Dhriti has also participated and won prizes in many competitions such as Papanasam Sivan and Kala Aradhana.

In addition to vocal music, Dhriti also learns Bharatanatyam from Smt.Preetha Sheshadri. Dhriti is an avid reader, enjoys writing stories, painting and sketching. She has won prizes for her paintings and sketches. Dhriti is an rising sophomore at Lynbrook High School, San Jose.

Shreyas Srinivasan (Violin)

Shreyas is currently being trained on the violin by Sri H.K.Narasimhamurthy, who is a disciple of late Sri. Parur Sundaram Iyer and Padma Bhushan Sangita Kalanidhi M.S.Gopalakrishnan. He was initiated to Parur School of Violin by Kalaimamani Dr. Narmadha. Shreyas started his initial lessons from Smt. Geetha Seshadri. Shreyas is a freshman at Dublin High School.

Aditya Srinivasan (Mrudangam)

Aditya has been learning Mridangam from Sri. Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan for the past 12 years. He performs regularly in the bayarea, LA and in India during the December music season. Aditya is a rising Senior at UCLA majoring in Computer Science.

Srishiva Manikantan (Vocal)

Srishiva is a rising sophomore in Piedmont Hills High School. He started learning Carnatic music from his parents, and for the past 4 years he has been blessed to be under the guidance of Sri Ajay Namboodiri, a disciple of Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan. Srishiva learns violin from Sri. Saravanapriyan Sriraman, a disciple of Sri Lalgudi GJR Krishnan

He also learns piano and has given many recitals; he has completed level 7 ABRSM exams. Apart from music, Srishiva learns Sanskrit and also likes to play tennis; electronic gadgets are his favorites.

Apurvaa Anand (Violin)

Apurvaa Anand is a vocal and violin disciple of Guru Smt. Anuradha Sridhar. She has performed in several productions by her music school, Trinity Center for Music, and has given both vocal and violin recitals. She has won prizes at Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana and Papanasam Sivan festival held in the Bay Area. Apurvaa is the great granddaughter of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri.T.K.Jayarama Iyer.

Apurvaa also plays the western violin and has been a part of California Youth Symphony. She is also part of her school advanced strings orchestra as a first violin chair.

Avinash Anand (Mrudangam)

Avinash, a 7th grader who is learning Mridangam for the past 6 years from Shri Ramesh Srinivasan, Director of Sarvalaghu Percussion Arts Center, San Jose. With his Guru's blessings Avinash had his Mirdangam arangetram with Sri Chitavina Ravikiran on January 3rd 2016 in Chennai.

Avinash is also learning Vocal music from Sri Hari Devnath and Sri. Vivek Sundararaman, Sri Paduka Academy. He has participated and won prizes in Cleveland Aradhana and Bay area competitive events. Apart from music, he plays badminton and enjoys reading books.

Aditya Satyadeep (Violin)

Aditya is a rising sophomore at Archbishop Mitty High School. He has been learning carnatic violin for the past 7 years. Aditya had his initial training under the guidance of Dr.Rajalakshmi Srinivasan and is currently under the tutelage of Smt.Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi, daughter and disciple of the Violin maestro Shri Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. Aditya regularly accompanies students of music schools and musicians in the bayarea. He has also had the privilege to perform at various places outside the bayara including Chennai, Chicago, Cleveland, North Carolina and Los Angeles. Aditya has received prizes in carnatic violin competitions organized by the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and Kala Aradhana. Aditya also enjoys listening to carnatic music, reading and playing tennis and basketball. He is part of his school's tennis team and orchestra.

Pranav Tirumalai (Mrudangam)

Pranav Tirumalai started learning Mrdangam at the age of 6 under the able guidance of Sri. Ravindrabharathy Sridharan. He is currently under the tutelage of Sri Trichur C. Narendran, one of the prime and early disciples of Sri Palghat Raghu and one who has accompanied more than five generations of musicians. Pranav has been blessed to accompany Vidwans and various music schools of Bay Area.

Pranav has also been learning vocal music from Sri. Chembai R. Vaidyanathan, disciple of Sri. P.S. Narayana Swamy. He enjoys listening to music and observing techniques of great artists. Pranav is a freshman at Mission San Jose High School, Fremont. He is part of his school’s Tennis and Basketball teams.
