Rajeev Devanath (Vocal)

Rajeev began learning music when he was five years old and is continuing to learn from his father Sri Hari Devanath at Sri Paduka Academy.  Rajeev is currently also learning Hindustani Music from Sri Nachiketa Yakkundi. He is a ninth grader at University Preparatory Academy. Rajeev loves participating in music events as a group or as an individual.  Rajeev also loves to play basketball, table tennis, and robotics.

Rajeev started learning mirudangam from Sri Ramesh Srinivasan and did his mirudangam arangetram in 2019, he continues to learn from Sri Chennai Thyagarajan.

Prahlad Saravanapriyan (violin) 

Prahlad Saravanapriyan is a budding young Carnatic violinist and vocalist from the San Francisco (SFO) Bay area. Prahlad is the son and disciple of Sri. Saravanapriyan Sriraman, and has been learning Carnatic music from his father and Guru, since he was 3 years of age.  Prahlad is receiving additional training and guidance from Lalgudi Sri. G.J.R. Krishnan since 2019.

Prahlad performs regularly in the SFO Bay Area music community, in various concerts, programs, and productions featured and hosted by prime music organizations. He has participated and won several national-level prizes and recognition in violin and vocal music competitions hosted by prestigious organizations in USA, India, and Malaysia. He continues to evolve and grow with his passion for music, performs violin duets together with his father/Guru, and has also started performing in the Chennai Margazhi season. Prahlad is currently a high school sophomore (10th grade).

Umesh Gopi (Mridangam)

Umesh has been playing mridangam for close to 10 years, he started learning mridangam from his father Sri. Gopi Lakshminarayanan since age 5. Umesh has won first prizes in mridangam competitions such as Cleveland Aradhana, Papanasam Sivan, etc. He started providing mridangam accompaniment support from a young age of 8. Umesh has provided mridangam accompaniment for many carnatic music concerts hosted in venues such  as CCC, Hamsadwani, SRFA etc. Umesh also has performed in many live and recorded online concerts in the past 2 years conducted by organizations such as Manikrishnaswamy academy, Live4you, Kala Prashala, Giri FineArts, SRFA, etc. He also learns carnatic vocal music from Sri. Kolkata Vijayaraghavan. Umesh is a rising Junior at Irvington High School, fremont. 

Smriti Swaminathan (Vocal)

Smriti is a disciple of Smt. Kasthuri Shivakumar. She has also been learning veena under the guidance of Sri. Srikanth Chary for the past 8 years. She regularly performs at many events both online and in-person. She has won prizes in several bay area competitions as well as online global platforms. She is a sophomore in DVHS, San Ramon.

Ranjana Rajagopalan (Violin)

Ranjana is a vocal and violin disciple of Smt. Lavanya Kothandaraman. She has also learned from Violinist Vidwan Sri. R. K. Shriramkumar on multiple occasions. She was one of two violin accompanists for the Sustaining Sampradaya 2019 recital at Cleveland.

Ranjana likes to work on craft and painting projects, watch NBA games, read novels and play games with her siblings and family. She is a Senior at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale.

Rishi Kodungallur (Mridangam)

Rishi Kodungallur is a disciple of Vid. Ravindrabharathy Sridharan of Nadhopasana Academy of Fine Arts, Cupertino, California. Rishi has been learning mridangam for the last 9 years. He had his mridangam arangetram in August 2022, accompanying esteemed vainika Vid. Srikanth Chary. Rishi is a freshman at Dublin High School.

Varsha Chandrasekaran

Varsha Chandrasekaran is a senior at Lynbrook High School in San Jose, CA. Varsha has been learning Carnatic Vocal music from Smt. Divya Ramesh of Saphalya Music Academy for the past 14 years and from Nadha Vallabha Delhi Sri P. Sunderrajan for the past 6 years. She regularly gives solo and group performances in Bay Area music events. Outside of music she enjoys reading and pencil sketching.


Pramati Barath

Pramati Barath is a senior at Saint Francis High School Mountain View. She has been learning violin for 8 years and is a disciple of Delhi Sri P Sunder Rajan. She also learns vocal from Sri Hari Devanath and Sri Vivek Sundararaman of Sri Paduka Academy. Pramati is also a competitive tennis player and represents her school’s varsity team.


Sanjeev Palamand

Sanjeev Palamand hails from a family with rich cultural heritage in Bengaluru, India and is a disciple of world renowned musician Vidwan Shri Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma. He was initiated into the art of playing the Mridanga by Vidwan Shri Chintalapalli Ashwathnarayan Rao and continues to seek advanced training under Guru Shri Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma.

Sanjeev is adept with the Konakkol, Khanjira, Keyboard and is also a well known composer and has arranged music for ensembles, TV shows, live theater, albums and short films.
