Sireesh Pedapenki (Vocal)

Sireesh is a student of Smt. Anuradha Suresh and Kum. Manasa Suresh for the past 8 years. He also learns music from Dr. Uma Naresh for the past year. Sireesh has performed at various temples in the Bay Area and has participated in competitions including Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Mythri Utsav, and Papanasam Sivan. Sireesh is an 8th grader at Centerville Junior High School. He plays waterpolo and he enjoys drawing and reading in his free time.

Suraga Nallan (Vocal)

Suraga is a student of Smt. Kasthuri Shivakumar at IAIM for the past six years. She is a sixth grade student at Bret Harte Middle School, San Jose. She has won numerous individual and group singing awards at Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Annamacharya, Kala Aradhana, OSAAT, Papanasam Sivan competitions in multiple categories. Suraga loves competitive swimming, archery, reading mythological fantasies, traveling and playing with her friends.


Veena Krishnan (Violin)

Veena has been learning violin from Smt. Sandhya Srinath since Oct. 2016. She has been learning Carnatic vocal from Shri. Aneesh V. Bhat since 2014. She has also been learning Bharatanatyam from Smt. Suganda Sreenath Iyer since 2012. Veena has been learning Hindustani music from Pandit Habib Khan since 2012. She has been accompanying various music schools in the Bay Area. Veena is a 7th grader in California Connections Academy. She is a member and treasurer of her school’s NJHS Chapter. She is an avid reader, likes to do art and enjoys math.


Sathvik Prasanna (Mridangam)

Sathvik was initiated into learning Mridangam by Sri. Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan. He has now been learning from Umayalpuram Sri. Mali for the past 3 years. Sathvik had his full length debut concert in Chennai in summer of 2019. Sathvik learns Carnatic vocal from Smt. Lavanya Raman. He also plays western violin and is an avid chess player. He is a 7th grader at Kennedy Middle School, Cupertino.

Anirudh Ramadurai (Veena)

Anirudh Ramadurai, a student of Nada Nidhi, has been under the tutelage of Guru. Sri. Srikanth Chary for the past eight years. He has recently started to perform as a soloist and accompanist at local temple events and Carnatic Chamber Concerts. He has won prizes in the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and the Sri. Papanasam Sivan Festival. Anirudh is also a Carnatic Vocal student of Sri Paduka Academy. A sophomore at Silver Creek High School, San Jose, Anirudh is a member of the Boy Scouts of America holding the rank of Life Scout.


Ambika Ramadurai (Mridangam)

Ambika Ramadurai, a freshman at Silver Creek High School, is a student of Vaadhya Vidhyaalayam training under Guru Sri. Srinath Bala for three years. As an accompanying percussionist, she performs at many local events and is beginning to enjoy the collaborative and improvisational aspects of the art form. She is also a vocal student of Sri Paduka Academy. Apart from music, Ambika is a Girl Scout Senior and has earned both the Girl Scout Bronze and Silver Awards for her service projects in the community.


Shivaram Viswanathan (Kanjira)

Shivaram Viswanathan is a student of Sri. Srinath Bala, under Vaadhya Vidhyalayam school of Percussion in San Jose, CA. Shivaram is passionate about layam in Carnatic music and has been training in mridangam, kanjira, and konnakol under Srinath Bala for the last three years. Shivaram has provided accompaniment in Mridangam and Kanjira to various temple event concerts and music school programs in the Bay area. Shivaram has always been passionate about percussion and has tried his hands with western drums, rhythm pads, and Cajon during his school days. He is an avid Carnatic music fan and recently has taken up his passion to excel in Carnatic percussion.

Shivaram has a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering and is currently working as an Engineer at Uber Technologies in Pittsburgh.
