Thejeswini Sai Swaminathan (Vocal)

Thejeswini Sai Swaminathan is a freshman at Fremont Unified District. She has been under the tutelage of Sri. Kolkata K. Vijayaraghavan, disciple of Shri. T.N. Seshagopalan for past 3 years. She is also learning violin from Sri.Saravanapriyan Sriraman, disciple of Sri. Lalgudi GJR Krishnan. She has performed at various venues like SRRT, Margazhi utsavam, Ramanavami festival, etc,. She was part of her school musical which helped raise money for the Syrian refugee camp. She is very happy to have scored the background music for her school play.


Sahas Ramesh (Violin)

Sahas Ramesh is a disciple of Vidwan Sri. Vittal Ramamurthy, (disciple of Padmabhushan. Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman)for about 5 years. He has also been learning Carnatic vocal from age 5 from Anisha Parameswaran and continues his vocal training.

Sahas is a Junior at Mission San Jose high school in Fremont


Avinash (Mridangam)

Avinash is a Sophomore at Dougherty Valley High School, San Ramon. Avinash is a disciple of Vidwan Sri. S.J. Arjun Ganesh. He had his initial training from Sri. Ramesh Srinivasan. With his Guru’s blessings, he had his arangetram with Sri Chitravina N. Ravikiran. He also learns Carnatic vocal from Sri. Hari Devanath and Sri.Vivek Sundararaman of Sri Paduka Academy. Avinash was blessed to accompany Sri Chitravina N. Ravikiran on Mridangam in a full length concert at MITHAS, Boston. He has also performed in SVBC TV (Bhakthi channel of TTD).

Besides music, he likes to read books, play badminton and follow football.

Anirudh Raja (Vocal)

Anirudh Raja is a sophomore at Oakgrove High School, San Jose, CA. He is a vivid learner with great passion to Carnatic Music and is a disciple of Shri. Hari Devanath and Shri.Vivek Sundararaman at Sri Paduka Academy in San Jose.

Anirudh also learns Hindustani Vocal from Sri Nachiketa Yakkundi disciple of Pandit Basavaraj Rajguru.


Aparna Thyagarajan (Violin)

Aparna Thyagarajan started showing interest in Carnatic music from a very young age. She had her initial training in Carnatic vocal music from her mother Smt. Rama Thyagarajan, and started learning the violin at the age of 10. She is currently under the guidance of her uncle Vidwan Sri Delhi P. Sunderrajan for both vocal and violin. Aparna has provided violin accompaniment for many Bay Area schools, competitions, and individual artists. She has won first prize in multiple categories for the violin competition held by the prestigious Cleveland Aradhana Festival. She has also given solo violin duets with her brother Vignesh Thyagarajan. Aparna has performed vocal music for various organizations throughout the Bay Area and has performed in Chennai as a part of the december music season for the last 4 years. Aparna had her Violin solo Arangetram on Sep 2019 accompanied by Vidwan. Neyveli Sri. Narayanan on Mrudangam and Vidwan. Adambakkam Sri. Sankar on Ghatam. She is doing her BS in software engineering at San Jose State University.


Amit Ranganathan (Mridangam)

Amit Ranganathan has been a disciple of Sri. Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan for the past 12 years.

Since performing his arangetram in 2013, Amit has accompanied upcoming and senior musicians across the U.S. and India. He continues to perform under the auspices of several organizations including SIFA, LOTUS, Nandalala Mission, SR Fine Arts, Swaralahari, Sacramento Aradhana, Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, and San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival. He regularly accompanies for Bharatanatyam and vocal arangetrams and productions in and out of the Bay Area.

Amit has been extremely active in the Cleveland Thyagaraja festival. He was awarded first place in the senior mrudangam competition and has previously won awards in the junior and accompaniment category.

In addition to learning mrudangam, Amit has learnt Carnatic vocal music from Smt. Jayashree Varadarajan.

Amit holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and currently works as a Software Engineer in the Bay Area.
