Kum. Ramya and Kum. Radha Paravastu (VOCAL DUET)
Kum. Ramya and Kum. Radha Paravastu are disciples of Smt. Subhapriya & Sri Hemmige V. Srivatsan, belonging to the Sri Ariyakudi and KV Narayanaswamy parampara. They are also violin students of Sri Ajay Narasimha. They started their vocal training from Smt. Shyamala Rangarajan (Srirangam) and Sri. Ram Panchapakesan. Radha is a freshman at UC Berkeley and Ramya is a graduate of UCLA, now working in the Bay Area.
Chi. Hari Narayanan Srivatsan (VIOLIN)
Chi. Hari Narayanan Srivatsan is a violin disciple of his father Sri Hemmige Srivatsan. Hari also continues to train in carnatic vocal music under his parents Smt. Subhapriya and Sri Srivatsan. Hari is a jazz trumpeter, avid tennis player and currently a senior at Branham High School.
Chi. Raama Srivatsan (MRIDANGAM)
Chi. Raama Srivatsan is a disciple of mrdangam legend Trichur Sri C. Narendan. He is also a carnatic vocalist, having trained under his parents Smt. Subhapriya and Sri Hemmige Srivatsan. He has also had the privilege of learning under his paramaguru pathni Vidushi Smt. Padma Narayanaswamy and Vidushi Smt. Jayalakshmi Santhanam. He works as a Technical Designer for a sensor company.
Chi. Hari Narayanan Srivatsan (VOCAL)
Chi. Hari Narayanan Srivatsan is a disciple of his parents Smt. Subhapriya & Sri Hemmige Srivatsan, belonging to the Ariyakudi and KV Narayanaswamy parampara. Hari learns carnatic violin from his father Hemmige V. Srivatsan. Hari is a jazz trumpeter and avid tennis player. He is a senior at Branham High School.
Accompanying Hari on the violin today is his Guru and Vidwan Sri Hemmige Srivatsan.
Vidwan Sri Hemmige Srivatsan (VIOLIN)
Vidwan Sri Hemmige Srivatsan is a highly regarded vocalist and violinist in the classical Carnatic tradition. He was introduced to music by his parents and received training as a violinist under Sri Anoor Ramakrishna, Principal of the Ayyanar Music College in Bangalore. In 1985, Sri Srivatsan began accompanying PadmaSri Palghat Sri K.V. Narayanaswamy and became a disciple of Sri KVN, learning the art of singing from him as well. Sri Srivatsan has accompanied many other legendary musicians including Sri Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, Smt. M.S. Subbulakshmi, Sri DK Jayaraman, Sri RK Srikantan, Sri N. Ramani, Sri TViswa, Sri TNSeshagopalan, and Sri TV Sankaranarayanan. He has been featured in a number of albums and is an ‘A’ grade artiste of All India Radio.
Chi. Ajay Gopi (MRIDANGAM)
Chi. Ajay Gopi is a disciple of his father Sri. Gopi Lakshminarayanan and Sri. Kallidaikurichi Sivakumar. Ajay has been regularly performing in the Chennai December Season festival in many reputed sabhas for the past few years. Ajay has performed at the Madras Music Academy as part of the Spirit of Youth and HCL concert series. Ajay also regularly performs in various organizations in the USA such as Hamsadhwani, Lotus, Maarga, SFRA and SIFA for local and visiting musicians. Ajay also learns Carnatic Vocal and he is currently learning from Sri. Kolkata Vijayaraghavan. Ajay is a graduate of UC Berkeley and is a software engineer in the Silicon Valley.
