VIshnu Athreya (Vocal)
Vishnu has had the privilege of learning vocal music from Shri Kaushik Lakshminarayanan, a senior vocalist and flutist, student of Smt. Suguna Purushottaman, R K Shriramkumar and Smt. N. Kesi (flute) . Vishnu is a Senior at Archbishop Mitty HIgh School in Saratoga. He enjoys anything technology and history. He sings in his school choir and also plays western violin.
Avanija Vangala (Violin)
Avanija is a junior at Stratford Preparatory School. She has been learning Carnatic Violin from her Guru Kalaimamani Padma Shankar (Student of Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman). She has won prizes in multiple competitions including BAKU Concert Slot, and Cleaveland Aradhana and regularly performs solos and accompaniment concerts around the Bay Area.
Lalit Kovvuri (mridangam)
Lalit Narayan Kovvuri is a senior at Archbishop Mitty High School. He is currently under the tutelage of Vidwan Sri. S. V. Ramani from Chennai. Over the past few years, he has performed in various sabhas in Chennai during Margazi season and in Bay Area as well. He has also won several awards in various mridangam competitions including Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana. Apart from mridangam, Lalit is also pursuing Carnatic vocal and violin under the tutelage of Vidushi Smt. Anuradha Sridhar. Lalit performed his mridangam arangetram in the summer of 2019. Along with Music, Lalit is also a proud recipient of US Presidential Volunteer award (Gold) for his work to the society through his music.
Shravya Rengan (Vocal)
Shravya is a freshman at Emerald High School, Dublin. She has been learning carnatic music under Dr. Shri ShivKumar Bhat and Smt Kasthuri Shivakumar for the past 9 years.
Shravya has also been learning carnatic violin for five and a half years, and is currently training under Vid. Shri Delhi R. Sridhar.
She has actively participated in vocal and violin competitions, earning prizes and recognitions. Shravya also enjoys running and playing badminton.
Madhura Chandrasekar (Violin)
Madhura is a student of Vid. Vittal Rangan. She has participated in violin solo competitions conducted by various organizations. She also learns vocal music from Smt. Kasthuri Sivakumar of IAIM . Madhura is a sophomore in Monta Vista High School, Cupertino and enjoys reading, baking and hanging out with her cousins and friends.
Laxman Venkatraman (Mridangam)
Laxman is a Senior at Mountain House High School and has been playing Mridangam for over a decade. He was initially trained by Guru Shri Ramesh Srinivasan and Shri Ganapathiraman Vishwanathan and is currently pursuing advanced training from Guru Shri KV Gopalakrishnan. He is also an avid volunteer with HSS (Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh) and has been studying Vedam for over 9 years.
Roopa Rajagopalan (Vocal)
Roopa is a violin and vocal disciple of Smt. Lavanya Kothandaraman. She also learns vocal music from Sri. Kaushik Lakshminarayanan. Roopa is a Senior at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale.
Ranjana Rajagopalan (Violin)
Ranjana is a violin and vocal disciple of Smt. Lavanya Kothandaraman and Sri. Kaushik Lakshminarayanan. She has also had the opportunity to learn both violin and vocal from Sangita Kalanidhi Vidwan Sri. R. K. Shriramkumar on multiple occasions. Ranjana is a Junior at Univ of Illinois at Urbana Champaign pursuing a Computer Science degree at UIUC's Grainger College of Engineering.
Bhargav Nemani (Mridangam)
Bhargav is currently learning mridangam from Sri Patri Satish Kumar. He started his mridangam journey with guru Sri. Ramesh Srinivasan, and performed his mridangam arangetram in 2019. He learns vocal music from Smt Vasudha Ravi. Outside Bay Area, Bhargav has performed in Cleveland, San Diego youth festival and the 2022, 2023 December Chennai music seasons. Bhargav is a Senior at Leland High School in San Jose.
