Amulya Gayathri Akkenepalli (Violin)
Amulya’s Bio Amulya Gayathri Akkenepalli is a 7th grader at Lawson Middle school and has been learning violin from Guru Smt. Sandhya Srinath for about 5 years. Amulya has been performing in events by Bay Area Music organizations and has been accompanying various Bay Area music schools. She has won first prizes at the OSAAT, Papanasam Sivan and BAKU competitions. Amulya is a disciple of Guru Smt. Jayashree Varadarajan and has been learning vocal music from her. Amulya also learns Bharatanatyam from Guru Smt. Roopa Anand.
Kishore Lakshmanan (Mridangam)
Vikas Munukutla (Vocal)
Vikas has been learning Carnatic vocal music since the age of 5 from Smt. Padma Kutty. He came under the tutelage of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Shri Nedunuri Krishnamurthy and learned in gurukula style during his high school summers by visiting India & staying at his residence. He is currently learning from Shri Malladi Ravikumar. He has performed in both the US and India.
Avanija Vangala (Violin)
Avanija is a 11th grader at Stratford Preparatory School. She has been learning Carnatic Violin from her Guru Kalaimamani Padma Shankar (Student of Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman). She has won prizes in multiple competitions including BAKU Concert Slot, and Cleaveland Aradhana and regularly performs solos and accompaniment concerts around the Bay Area.
Kedar Shankarram (Mridangam)
Kedar is a 11th grader at Leigh High School in San Jose. He learns mridangam from KalaimAmaNi Sri.Delhi Sairam. He is also a Carnatic vocal student of Sri Paduka Academy, learning from Sri.Hari Devanath. He has accompanied at concerts in the Bay Area for organizations such as SRFA, LOTUS, CCC and most recently during the margazhi season at Chennai. He has won prizes at Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Saptami, and Papanasam Sivan music competitions. Kedar enjoys biking, solving puzzles and listening to music.
