Dear Rasikas,

We are excited to announce the 11th Annual Thyagaraja Aradhana mahotsavam in association with Sanatana Dharma Kendra. Thanks for registering for singing during the 4 day festival and we received 150 requests so far and we have closed regular registration. We are trying to allocate slots for the waitlisted registrations once we have more time allotted by the venue.

Slots are now confirmed as shown below. Its first come first serve within the block based on checkin time and not in the order shown in the block below (sorted alphabetically).

Performance guidelines:

Please stick to the guidelines so we can be within time for everyone:

1. Participants must render ONLY compositions of Saint Tyagaraja.

2. Participants must limit their rendition to 5 mins.

3. NO manOdharmam is permitted - kriti rendition only.

4. Groups of 5 or more participants can sing 2 songs of 5 minutes each (total 10 mins)

5. Please limit one entry per performer.

Tambura will be provided.

Slots for individual and groups - Feb 7th and 8th

Participants should report at the registration desk 30 mins before the beginning of the block time so that they can get their number and be ready. It will be on a first come first serve basis within your block.

Block - Reporting time

9:30 for 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

11:30 am for 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

1:30 pm for 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

3:30 pm for 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Volunteers:

Here's some of the tasks that we need help on.

Registration desk, Food/Backstage, MC to announce participants names, Sound system setup for each participant/group.

Watch out for further announcements or contact us if you are interested to volunteer.

Parking:

Since we are expecting a large turnout, here are some of the parking spots once the temple parking lot fills up. Please try to carpool as much as possible to make it easier.

• On the street towards east on Landess Ave after the temple

• On the street behind the temple on Laneview Dr along Laneview Elementary School

• On the street towards south on Morrill Ave starting from a block away to lots of space in front of Morrill Middle School 2-3 blocks away

• On the street towards north on Park Victoria Dr near to the Milpitas Christian Preschool a block to 2 blocks away
